LaTeX is a typesetting program geared toward producing technical documents for theses, dissertations, and journal articles. It helps the author focus on the content of their paper instead of its formatting. LaTeX is freely available on Windows, Macintosh, and various Unix platforms.

The TeX Users Group is the authoritative source for all information about TeX and LaTeX.

We also maintain documentation on writing a TTU thesis or dissertation in LaTeX and installing various LaTeX tools in Windows.

Also, Information Technology Services has installed PCTeX32 in their lab in Bruner Hall 305.
